My Plant-Based Diet
in 2014, I decided to transition to an ovo-lacto vegetarian diet. On this diet, I didn't consume any land or sea animal products except for dairy and eggs. In 2018, I transitioned to plant-based eating because I wanted to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into my diet for health and fitness reasons. The pros of this diet is that I didn't need to sacrifice eating delicious foods. I also noticed increased energy levels, felt satiated longer, and it was sustainable for long term weight maintenance.
I'm still learning and perfecting the art of cooking. My philosophy behind each meal is, "the simpler the better!" I cook with basic raw ingredients which require little preparation.
